Can I begin after a semester starts?

Yes you can, although some conditions do apply. Firstly, the courses offered at that time should not have any mandatory prerequisites. Secondly, space must be available in the course. If these conditions are met, then a program advisor will assess which courses would be best suited for you, based on your educational background.

Can I take a course for interest or must all 19 courses be taken?

All 19 courses are required for a Diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition. However, if you want to take individual courses, you may do so. You will need to meet with a Program Advisor to view our current schedules prior to registration in order to learn the process to enroll into Institute of Holistic Nutrition Online’s courses and/or full program.

How much home study is required?

Each class is three and a half hours and a reasonable estimate for home study per class is two and a half hours.

Can someone flip between fulltime (FT) and part-time (PT) options?

Institute of Holistic Nutrition Online’s Applied Holistic Nutrition program has been designed to be flexible. Although students receive a FT or PT schedule, each course lasts approximately 4-6 weeks, and your schedule can be adjusted accordingly. It is possible to switch from FT to PT as many times as needed, and can also take breaks between courses if needed. Students have 5 years to complete the program.

Can I switch between the Online Live, Self-Paced, and In-Class programs?

There is one opportunity to switch and a transfer fee applies. You would be required to officially withdraw from your current program and apply to the other program submitting the appropriate enrollment documents relevant to the program of transfer.
